Site Survey

All projects require a site survey prior to any work being undertaken. This allows us to assess suitability, identify potential issues, and recommend the correct preparation and materials.

During the survey:

  • Any visible damage, defects, or unsuitable surfaces will be highlighted and discussed.

  • Colour and finish samples will be presented for reference only. Final appearance may vary due to batch production and lighting conditions.

  • Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed for future repairs or replacement of existing vinyl.

All estimates are valid for 90 days. After this period, prices may be reviewed due to material or labour cost changes.

Payments

All projects must be paid in full in advance of work commencing. Materials will not be ordered until payment has been received and cleared.

Accepted Payment Methods
  • Card payment (by telephone)

  • BACS transfer
    Sort Code: 80-22-60
    Account Number: 13067361

All BACS payments must clear prior to the scheduled installation date.

Installation & Access

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure:

  • The work area is fully cleared of furniture, appliances, and personal items before installation.

  • Uninterrupted access to the work area is provided for the duration of the works.

  • A suitable power supply is available where required (e.g. for heat application).

Wraptor accepts no liability for damage to items that have not been removed in advance. Delays or additional charges may apply where access is restricted or preparation has not been completed.

Surface Preparation & Substrate Responsibility

Vinyl performance depends on the condition and integrity of the underlying surface.

  • While all reasonable preparation will be carried out, Wraptor cannot be held responsible for failure caused by defective substrates, unstable paint, moisture ingress, or structural issues.

  • Removal of vinyl at a later date may result in paint or surface damage, particularly on previously painted walls or porous surfaces.

  • Vinyl wrapping is not a like-for-like replacement for new materials and relies on existing surface conditions.

Cancellations & Delays

Wraptor reserves the right to cancel or postpone works where site conditions are unsafe, unsuitable, or non-compliant.

Client cancellations or rescheduling may incur charges, particularly where:

  • Materials have already been ordered

  • Labour has been allocated

  • Short notice is given

A final inspection will be carried out prior to installation. Any newly discovered issues may result in additional costs or delays, which will be discussed before proceeding.

Waste & Clean-Up

All installation waste generated by Wraptor will be removed upon completion at no additional cost. Work areas will be left safe and tidy at the end of each working day.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Correct aftercare is essential to maintain performance and appearance.

  • Vinyl should be cleaned using mild detergents and soft cloths (e.g. microfibre).

  • Do not use abrasive materials, bleach, ammonia, or solvent-based cleaners.

  • Spillages should be cleaned immediately to prevent staining.

Wraptor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper cleaning, misuse, neglect, or exposure to unsuitable conditions.

Warranty

All vinyl installations are covered by a manufacturer-backed warranty of up to 10 years, depending on product type and application.

The warranty covers material defects such as fading, cracking, yellowing, or discolouration. It does not cover:

  • Improper maintenance

  • Physical damage

  • Chemical exposure

  • Moisture ingress

  • Substrate or paint failure

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and are subject to inspection.

Limitation of Liability

Wraptor’s liability is limited to the value of the contracted works. We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of earnings, business interruption, or third-party costs.

Photography & Marketing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Wraptor reserves the right to photograph completed projects for use in marketing, portfolios, and online media.

Complaints

Any complaints regarding workmanship or staff conduct must be submitted in writing via email or post. We aim to resolve all issues fairly and professionally.

Staff Conduct & Abuse

Wraptor operates a zero-tolerance policy toward abuse of staff. Verbal or physical abuse will result in immediate cessation of works and may lead to termination of the contract without notice.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Scottish law.
