Media Wall Wrap Edinburgh

Project Overview

We were approached by a client in Edinburgh who had recently invested in a bespoke media wall featuring slatted wall panels finished in a grey concrete effect. Shortly after installation, the property underwent further refurbishment, including new flooring, a kitchen upgrade, and updated furniture.

While the media wall itself was in excellent condition, its original finish no longer complemented the updated interior scheme.

The Challenge

Replacing the media wall would have been costly, disruptive, and unnecessary given how recently it had been installed. The client wanted a solution that would allow the wall to be visually updated without removing or rebuilding it while still achieving a high end, cohesive finish.

Our Solution

We proposed architectural vinyl wrapping as a practical and design led alternative to replacement. After reviewing finish options with the client, we selected a Cover Styl’ architectural vinyl, transitioning the media wall from a grey concrete finish to a lighter cream concrete effect that aligned seamlessly with the new décor.

The existing surface was carefully prepared to ensure optimal adhesion before the vinyl was installed with precision, preserving the detail of the slatted panels and delivering a smooth, uniform appearance.

The Result

The wrapped media wall now sits perfectly within the updated space, complementing the surrounding finishes and restoring balance to the room’s design. The transformation was completed without disruption, mess, or unnecessary waste, giving the client the appearance of a brand new installation at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

This project highlights how architectural wrapping can be used as a flexible, sustainable solution for adapting interiors as design tastes and spaces evolve.
